SET ACK/NOACK  -- set acknowledgements 

   If you would like the list to send you an acknowledgement when you
   post (to verify that your post made it to the list) send this command to
   LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU
SET HOUNDS-L ACK
   On the other hand, if you use a system on which you must pay for every
   e-mail message you receive, you may wish to turn this off, so use the
   command:
SET HOUNDS-L NOACK
