SET MAIL/NOMAIL -- go on vacation 

   If you will not be able to access your system for
   awhile, do not want your e-mailbox to fill up with postings from
   the Hounds and would rather not unsubscribe (SIGNOFF) and then
   resubscribe (SUBSCRIBE), you can turn off receiving the list by
   using the command:
SET HOUNDS-L NOMAIL
   and resume reception by sending the command:
SET HOUNDS-L MAIL

NOTE -- The NOMAIL option is only meant to be used for a temporary
        cessation of mail.  Subscriptions which appear to be permanently
        set to nomail will be terminated.
