If you need to contact a group of Hounds, but don't know their e-mail addresses, send this command to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KENT.EDU:
REVIEW — who are we? (If you only need to contact one person, the SCAN command would be more appropriate) This will be the most useful method of sorting the list. The list may also be sorted by any of the following: Country - Sort list members by the country of origin given in their e-mail addresses. Name - Sort list members by their names (last, then first). Note that this is not the e-mail address but the full name that they provided when they subscribed to a list. Hostname Sort list members by their computer node. That is, the name that comes after the '@' (at sign) in their e-mail addresses. Userid - Sort list members by their userids. That is, the name that comes before the '@' (at sign) in their e-mail addresses. Date - Sort members by date of present subscription. Note that this is not the date that a person originally joined the mailing list, but is only the date at which he/she subscribed at their current email address. More than one of the above sort fields may be specified if they are enclosed in parentheses. In addition, the entire field identifier is not necessary, only the first letter. For example, the same result will be produced by either of the following:
REVIEW HOUNDS-L BY NAME
REVIEW HOUNDS-L BY (COUNTRY NAME)
