Since its inception in 1992, participants of the Hounds of the Internet mailing list have discussed the 60 original stories written by Holmes's creator, Arthur Conan Doyle.

Each week, a different story is discussed, introduced by one designated member through a series of questions and comments about the particular story.  All messages are archived on the Hounds listserver, allowing any Hounds subscriber to read not only the original messages, but also the many comments which these introductory questions generated.
