Nancy Springer is the author of the Enola Holmes book series, the first of which has been adapted into a movie released on Netflix in 2020. She was nominated for the Edgar Award for Best Juvenile Mystery for two books in the Enola Holmes series: The Case of the Missing Marquess in 2007 and The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline in 2010. She has also won the Tiptree award, the Carolyn W. Field Award, and multiple Edgar awards for her other works.
